The Dragon


Hey! I'm Lanie, the (not) dragon here at From the Desk of a Dragon.
I love writing, reading, dance, photography, and drawing. I usually feel like my creativity is being pulled in 10 different directions at once, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm a sophomore in college.

Some other important things about me:
I collect American Girl Dolls. I love rock music, and my favorite band is My Chemical Romance. (I'll leave it at that, or else the list would go on for pages.) I'm queer! I've kept a journal since 2017. I play the Sims 4. I love Welcome To Night Vale. Dan and Phil inspire me. Drawing little stars on things makes me happy.

    cool. when I was in my first year of high school I thought bout being a guy ballerina. Ended up becoming ( and still am.) a runner.

      not common. They wear a different type of clothing than female dancers. The reason I never got involved was because I didn't think my mom and dad would like the idea of me taking up what is considered a girl's thing that is too feminine. Honestly, I'm glad I didn't because I ended up taking up running and that became my passion. It still is. And ya, I'm different. Psychological and developmental illnesses have plagued my life.

    and I have some dolls also. Half the time my family I busy and I am alone so my dolls are my second family in a way. 6 American girl dolls.

      That's a hard one, but I think it's a tie between Kill All Your Friends and Famous Last Words. They sound more threatening than they actually are.
